Book Unhaul. Which ones are going bye bye?

Gasp! What a monster I am doing a book unhaul. Lol. Time to get real here for a second. My dirty book secret is….. I prefer ebooks to physical books. I’ll explain why, I get a lot of bad hand pain and a ereader is easier for me to hold. I am a mood reader, so the option of having multiple books at all times is a bonus, and honestly sometimes I become overwhelmed looking at my bookshelf.

So, I have decided to go through my physical books and any book I already have the ebook of is being unhauled. My plan with the books is since all the libraries are closed I’m going to make a free library in my apartment buildings lobby.

Let’s get the show on the road!

Time to unhaul some books

The books I am unhauling are a mix of genres including adult, young adult and middle grade.

Some of the books
  1. Percy Jackson and The Lightning Theif by Rick Riordan
  2. Eliza and her Monsters by Francesca Zappia
  3. Mean Girls by Micol Ostow
  4. A mad zombie party by Gena Showalter
  5. Legend by Marie Lu
  6. The Huntress by Kate Quinn
  7. Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
  8. Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
  9. If I was your girl by Meredith Russo
  10. Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristof
  11. The lost hero by Rick Riordan
  12. The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
  13. Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan
  14. Percy Jackson and the Titans Curse by Rick Riordan
  15. The Queen of Zombie Hearts by Gena Showalter
  16. Love walked in by Marisa De Los Santos
  17. Autoboyography by Christina Lauren
  18. Blue lily, Lily blue by Maggie Stiefvater
  19. Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson
  20. Unseen by Lisa Jackson
  21. Tell me by Lisa Jackson
  22. Devious by Lisa Jackson
  23. A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith
  24. Wrapped in Skin by Mark Morris

My hope is that they help bring someone joy and maybe cure their boredom for a bit.

*When we checked last night the box had 5 books left in it so I filled it back up. I didn’t take note of which books went in on the 2nd unhaul, my bad*

The finished product

What are your thoughts on unhauling books? I know some people like to keep every book they buy/recieve but I just don’t have the room for that.

What’s a book you recently unhauled? Or if you’re not into unhauling what’s a book you recently purchased/were gifted? Let me know down in the comments below.

Till next time,

Tanya xoxo

  1. What a great idea! I have very few physical books after purging a few years ago. Mainly I have my Bibles, manuals, and favorites. Fewer than 20, but no bookshelves yet so they’re all up in the attic until I have a place to organize them without stressing me out! Your shelf looks great! I much prefer ebooks now too! My minimalist heart can’t take the clutter although my bookworm self used to love seeing packed shelves of books I loved to read. Now they just go on the Kindle.

    1. I’m the same, seeing “to many” makes me anxious. Ebooks I’m fine with and have actually enjoyed categorizing them. Lol. I can have 300+ ebooks but my brain still ones “one machine” lol
