Jaded – A Book Review

Ugh…. do you ever read a book where you are just waiting for a certain character’s demise? You wait and wait, and right when you think it will come, the book shifts? That’s what Jaded by K.M Robinson did to me.

Book Title – Jaded

Author- K.M Robinson

Page count – 342

My thoughts on Jaded

Omg…. this book made me extremely passionate. By passionate I mean furious! So K.M definitely did a great job with invoking feeling even if it is rage.

I thought the characters were very likeable (minus 2), they had great descriptions and you got to know each main character.

I found Jade to be a very likeable and relatable character. She is someone I could see actually hanging out with and being friends with. She is extremely compassionate and devoted.

Be prepared

Don’t be like me, if you start this book be ready with the second one. It was very easy to get into and it sucks you in.

This book invoked feeling in me. Feelings such as anger, rage, intrigue, hopelfulness, more rage, and even more rage.

My rating for Jaded

I give it a 4 out of 5 stars. (Sorry girl, you lose .5 because you could have killed that infuriating character off but chose not to).

I realize K.M did that on purpose but still.

Who is K.M Robinson?

K.M is a lovely person who just enjoys making people feel things, even if that thing is rage. Haha.

K.M thoroughly believes she should have been born a mermaid. (Perfect hair, no pants, what’s not to like?).

She enjoys writing retellings, dystopian, young adult and science fiction books.

She has 3 dogs and is friends with Elle Beaumont. (You can read my review for Elle’s books Brotherhood of the Sea and Bindings of the Sea here).

Let me know down in the comments below if you have read Jaded and if so what you thought of it. Have you read anything by K.M Robinson?

Till next time,

Tanya xoxo

  1. I haven’t read this book but I’m certainly intrigued by your review and the emotions it invoked in you. Especially for such a strong rating with so much rage, aha!

    1. Haha, K.M definitely did a fantastic job of ticking me off. She’s incredibly kind but a mean author. Lol. I definitely recommend it

    1. Lol, you’re not the first to say that today :-p. Read the book, you will know the character when you meet them, I promise!

  2. Sounds like a fantastic book well worth the read! I know what you mean about having the next book ready. I just recently picked up a trilogy, not knowing how much I would fall in love with it. Honestly didn’t think anything would come of it because It took a couple chapters before it really started to draw me in. By the time I got to the end of Book 1 though I was DYING to read the next part. Now I’m waiting for book 3 from the library… as patiently as possible – lol, If you’re curious the Trilogy is called “The chronicles of the One,” by Nora Roberts. 🙂

    1. Is Year One the first book? If so I have the first book on my kobo. You can nab Jaded for free right now as a ebook. You can get it off Amazon or Kobo 🙂
