The Fictional Boyfriend Booktag

So I saw this tag on Laureads blog ( this is her tag post). I haven’t done a tag on this blog yet but I thought it would be fun. Especially with Valentine’s day here already and February being the month for love an all. So why not a fictional boyfriend tag?

*just putting a spoiler alert here just incase*

The most romantic boyfriend

I refuse to double dip and use Gilbert Blythe again (although he completely fits here). So I choose Peter Kavinsky from To all the boys I loved before by Jenny Han. I’ve read that book a couple of times and each time I get “the feels”.

The dark and moody bad boy with a good side

This honor goes to Brig Mackenzie from Final Scream by Lisa Jackson. He’s a total bad boy good guy type.

The paranormal boyfriend

This has to be R from Warm bodies by Isaac Marion. R is a zombie so he fits perfectly.

The boyfriend you want to tame

Cole Holland from Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter. He is the bad boy zombie killer so naturally he would be a bit wild.

The boyfriend you friendzoned

This might have to be good ol Harry Potter from the Harry Potter series by J.K Rowling. Sorry man, we’re just friends.

Your soulmate

This is forever and always going to be Gilbert Blythe from Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery. No one will EVER come close to him.

The boy you’d venture anywhere with

Peeta Mellark from The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I’d go anywhere and everywhere with Peeta.

The boy you’d elope with

Is it odd that I can’t think of anyone to put here? I shall put Louisa Clark from Me before You by Jojo Moyes here. She was such a heartfelt and adorable character.

The boy you’d be stranded on a desert island with

This definitely has to be Aragorn from Lord of the Rings by J.R.R.Tolkien. Honestly, is there any other option? First, he’s great at tracking. Survival. Pretty much everything involved with staying alive on a random island. Plus if he looks like Viggo Mortensen did playing him…… woo. Haha

The most badass boyfriend

I think I shall put Dax Miller from By your side by Kasie West here.

  1. Aww Peter Kavinsky! That actor is so handsome too. Tbh I just saw the movie, and haven’t read To All the Boys yet. And I really want to watch the second movie that just came out! I would totally friend-zone Harry too. ‍♀️

    1. It is such a cute trilogy. They are very easy to read books. I agree, I think Noah did a great job playing Peter.

  2. Lovely tag. I tend to forget most of what happens in the books I read (until I read them again) and the characters, too so I have no idea how I’d do with thig tag. I might do it at some point though. It sure looks cool 🙂

    1. Some books I’ve previously read like (Fangirl and the wrath and the dawn) I couldn’t tell you anything about. It’s like as soon as I finished them all my memories of what I read went poof! Haha

  3. I love this tag! I would have never thought to do this! Ugh I have so many books running through my head right now and I can’t wait to try this tag out! I know I’d for sure friend zone Percy Jackson though.

I couldn’t handle all the drama, lol!

    1. Was he in The Hunger Games? I know he was in Divergent. I probably missed him. Lol. I thought this was a cute tag. <3

  4. Fun tag!

I saw this post a couple days ago while searching for a tag I could do but I don’t think I commented. Sorry! I’d definitely choose Peter kavinsky and Aragorn too, at the top of my head but I’d have to seriously think about the others for sure! Thanks for sharing!
