Top 10 books I think should be movies

Spread the love

Hello fellow booknerds! Welcome to my book blog where I talk all things book related. I hope you enjoy my little space on the internet 🙂

Todays post is a list of the books I personally feel would make good movies. My apologies in advance if I leave out your favorite book.

Let’s get this show on the road

Eliza and her Monsters by Francesca Zappia. – This book has suspense, it tugs at your heart strings, has a love interest and some action as well. (No car chases or anything).

Illuminae by Jay Kristof and Amie Kaufman. – Space, a war and a love interest. Sign me up!

The Birth House by Ami Makay. – It has history, suspense, tragedy and overcoming obstacles.

Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan. – Yes, I am aware of the previous flop of a movie they tried to make. For such a fantastic book the execution of the 2 movies were really, really bad. I believe it deserves a do over. It could be such a fantastic movie.

Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco. – I really liked this book. I thought Thomas as a character was adorable, and the storyline was different.

By you side by Kasie West. – This would definitely be a rom-com type movie. But really, who doesn’t enjoy those?

Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys. – This book is historical fiction based on WW2. Its a different take on events. You get to see a different side.

Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter. I LOVE things with zombies. This book is more teenage based but is full of zombie fights. With the right special effects I think it could be promising.

Loved walked in by Marisa de Los Santos. This book is pretty much a contemporary love story. You would awwww and shed some tears.

Lost Souls by Lisa Jackson – Cults, mystery, murder, vampires, romance. Yes to it all!

In conclusion

Those are just the my top 10 books that I think should be movies. I realize there is many, many more out there.

What is a book(s) that you think should get the big screen treatment? Let me know down in the comments below.

Till next time,

Tanya xoxo
